I chose AS media because, I knew it would be a fun and interesting course to take part in. Media will open lots of doors for me, as I know that my teacher will help me get the best grade I can. In media, we do lots of coursework that I can apply to my day to day life, I can also see where media techniques come from and I am able to notice them in every soap, drama and film that I watch. This makes me feel like I have successfully learnt something that I can apply in everyday situations. By using this knowledge and thinking about it daily, I can make sure it is concrete in my mind to get the best grade. Media is a great course for me, as it helps me make choices of what I want to do in the future, I would like to eventually go into journalism and media has helped me learn the skills needed for this career.
